Visiting the Clinic
Where is the clinic?
We are on the 2nd–3rd floors of JU Medical Building, 2112 Seobu-ro (Yuljeon-dong), Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is a 7-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sungkyunkwan University Station.
What are your clinic hours?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 09:00–18:00. Saturday: 09:00–13:00. Lunch break: 13:00–14:00. Closed Wednesdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Are you open on Wednesdays?
We are regularly closed on Wednesdays. Changes around holidays are announced on our website.

How can I get there by bus?
Local buses: 61, 62-1, 99, 99-2. Express buses: 7800, 8000. Community buses: 25, 25-2, 27, 27-1, 27-5.
What are the doctor’s qualifications?
Dr. Eun-ju Kim is a gastroenterology specialist certified in gastrointestinal endoscopy and geriatric medicine.
Do I need an appointment for a regular consultation?
Regular consultations are walk-in visits, with patients seen in registration order during clinic hours. Health screening and endoscopy require appointments.
Is parking available?
Use Yuljeon Public Parking Lot. We validate 30 minutes for outpatient visits and 1 hour for health screening.
Respiratory & Allergy Care
Is the Aridol bronchial challenge test available?
Yes. If asthma is suspected but routine pulmonary function testing is inconclusive, the doctor may arrange an Aridol (Mannitol) Bronchial Challenge Test to assess airway hyperresponsiveness. Preparation instructions are provided after consultation.
What allergy tests do you offer?
We offer allergy blood testing rather than skin prick testing . Tests are selected according to symptoms and history, including allergic rhinitis, asthma, recurrent cough, and urticaria.
Which tests are used when asthma is suspected?
Depending on symptoms and examination findings, pulmonary function and bronchodilator response tests are performed first. Aridol (mannitol) challenge testing may be added to assess airway hyperresponsiveness.
Health Screening
What health screening options are available?
National general and life-stage screening, screening for stomach, colorectal, liver, breast and cervical cancer, employee screening, comprehensive checkups, and group screening are available.
How was the clinic rated in health screening evaluations?
NHIS awarded the highest rating in Cycle 4 (2021–2023) and an Excellent rating in Cycle 5 (2024–2026). All six categories—general health screening and stomach, colorectal, liver, breast and cervical cancer screening—received Excellent ratings.
When should I stop eating before health screening?
Finish dinner before 20:00 the evening before, then fast. On the morning of the examination, do not eat, drink water, smoke, or chew gum.
What should I keep in mind on the day of screening?
Arrive 15 minutes early and wear clothing that is easy to change out of. Tell us in advance if you are pregnant, menstruating, have glaucoma, or take any medicines.
How can I check my eligibility for national screening?
Check the screening notice sent by NHIS, the NHIS website, or its mobile app.

Endoscopy
Is endoscopy with sedation available?
Yes. We offer sedated gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Polyps found during colonoscopy may be removed.
When should I stop eating before endoscopy?
Do not eat after dinner the evening before. Water or tea is permitted until bedtime unless your individual preparation instructions differ. Do not drink water on the morning of the examination.
When can I eat after endoscopy?
Food is usually permitted 30–60 minutes after the examination, as instructed by the medical team. Start with soft foods. Activity restrictions after sedation or treatment still apply.
Can I drive after endoscopy with sedation?
Do not drive on the day you receive sedation. Use public transport or arrange for someone to accompany you.
Can gastroscopy and colonoscopy be done on the same day?
Yes. Please request this when booking.

Can I take blood pressure or diabetes medicines that morning?
Do not stop medicines on your own. Instructions for blood pressure medicines, diabetes medicines, and insulin depend on the examination and its timing. Tell us what you take when booking and follow the medical team’s instructions.
What if I take aspirin or another blood-thinning medicine?
Do not stop aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin, or a direct oral anticoagulant on your own. Any adjustment depends on the possibility of polypectomy and your risk of thrombosis, and should be discussed with the prescribing medical team.
